First Time Judges
Hello! And thank you for being willing to support our students as a judge. Without you, tournaments don’t work, so we are very grateful!There is a lot of information available for new judges on the NSDA website. Remember that you will likely only be judging one event, and, at the end of the day, your only job is to give honest feedback. Did someone convince you of something? Did someone make feel, make you laugh, cry, or think? That’s great. Judging can be intimidating, but it’s important to remember that there’s no right or wrong answer. And the more you judge, the more comfortable you’ll be judging! Below, you will find links to judging tutorials for each event, info on ballots, and more.
