Jaycee started Public Forum debate as a shy eighth grader who loved to argue with her parents, and always knew she wanted to be a lawyer. Now, she is far from shy and has made lifelong friends due to this activity, including her amazing debate partner Anagha. Furthermore, debate has really sparked her love for advocacy and justice, and has created an outlet for her to spread education. Her favorite memories include the Love Island watch party at Nationals, swimming with friends at ASU, and eating crawfish at Newman (ask Anagha about this story!) As one of your Public Forum captains, she’s incredibly excited to pass down her knowledge and see everyone learn and grow competitively, but also personally as they create beautiful memories.
